Hi, my name is Alessandra, thanks for visiting my cooking blog.

I love to cook and share recipes.  I am from Brazil, so many of the dishes you will find here are inspired by Brazilian cuisine. Some of them are classic dishes that I grew up with; others are dishes I come up using a mix of ingredients we can find here in the US.

I really enjoy experimenting with new recipes and coming up with new creations.  You may find some recipes here are from online blogs I participate and also from cookbooks I read.  I will do my best to share with you where the recipe comes from and my experience cooking it.  Occasionally I will also share deals and sales I find.
